COMMUNICATION: The studio of ASHLEY CHILDS takes communication very seriously. Given design elements, seriousness of the highest quality of production and engineering, please don’t hesitate to text, call or email our studio for any changes, date changes or customer feedback and/or requests. Our response time is approximately 24 hours or less, unless you have been informed of any vacation dates or production delays. *
PURCHASES // DEPOSITS: All wholesale buyers will be subject to a credit and reference check for billing purposes. A thorough, itemized and visual purchase list will be emailed to buyer upon order placement. All orders placed require a 50% deposit of wholesale price before production can begin. Final prices of designs are subject to change given current metal prices and/or ring sizes. Depending on the size of order, production can take approximately 3-8 weeks. If there are any delays with studio production or shipments, the studio will contact the buyer immediately. We have a strict, 30-day policy for the bill due after shipment. Our studio accepts checks/cashiers checks made out to: ASHLEY CHILDS, address: 3108 Glendale Blvd, Box 477, Los Angeles, CA 90039-1806. By placing an order with ASHLEY CHILDS you are accepting our terms and conditions and are therefore responsible for all bills due after production and shipment. By agreeing to these wholesale terms you also agree that the studio of ASHLEY CHILDS has the right to take further legal action if items are not shipped back to our studio or bills due are unpaid or items returned are damaged or not sellable. *
CONSIGNMENT: We understand ASHLEY CHILDS is an “emerging designer” as of 2017. Unfortunately, our stock is limited, especially our fine, 18kt white-palladium, 18kt yellow and platinum designs. For buyers wanting to showcase ASHLEY CHILDS designs in their store but can’t quite commit to a full purchase order yet, our studio may consider some designs to be put on consignment. A credit/reference check will be required including a 50% “hold” deposit of the total wholesale cost of pieces on consignment. ASHLEY CHILDS studio has the right to request pieces to be shipped back immediately, at any time, during the first three months. After three months, consignment pieces must be returned and a bill for repair or re-polishing will be required, depending on the condition of all pieces returned to our studio. Only when items are returned will we return the consignment deposit (deposit is subject to minus the items sold, not returned and/or re-stocking/repair/polishing fees). By agreeing to these consignment terms you also agree that the studio of ASHLEY CHILDS has the right to take further legal action if items are not shipped back to our studio or bills due are unpaid or items returned are damaged or not sellable. This agreement may not be available for all stores. Please contact our studio directly for further discussion and details. SHIPPING: ASHLEY CHILDS studio uses insured FEDEX/UPS/DHL shipping, depending on national or international destinations. If you have an account number, please add that to your order form. Shipping costs will be listed in NET DUE bill. Adult signature is required for delivery and tracking number will be provided before shipments are made. For orders requiring overnight or expedited shipping please contact the studio directly, firstname.lastname@example.org, +1 760 492 9521. Smaller shipments of items to store and depending on situation will be paid for by ASHLEY CHILDS studio. Shipments of items back to our studio will be the responsibility of the buyer (these shipments must be insured with signature required). If shipment for orders is delayed, the buyer will be promptly informed via email and a phone call as soon as possible. International shipping: Risk of loss and title of merchandise shipped internationally will pass upon to the buyer; the importer upon our delivery to our carrier (UPS/FEDEX/DHL). Your order is subject to import duties and taxes that are not included in our shipping costs. As the importer you must comply with all laws and regulations of the destination country. You authorize us to designate our carrier (UPS/FEDEX/DHL) to act as your agent with relevant customs and tax authorities. We have your privacy in mind, but please be aware that shipments across borders may be subject to opening and inspections from customs authorities. We work to provide proper information on the shipment to ensure a smooth customs clearance for faster and less troublesome shipping. If you decide to refuse any shipment from ASHLEY CHILDS studio, once it has left our offices, you are responsible for any duties, taxes and customs charges that are incurred in the refusal of shipment and reroute back to our offices. *
RETURNS: All orders placed with cleared check, produced, billed and shipped are final and are subject to a final NET DUE bill. Returning items for a full refund for wholesale cost is not accepted. Only with thorough and open communication of the situation may exchanges be considered, including custom ring sizes. If any designs with hinges, clasps or specially-engineered earring backing/posts are re-designed or re-engineered for better quality and/or longer-wear purposes, we will inform the buyer of these changes and/or price differences and will allow an exchange for these particular items if needed. If there are any design flaws, breakages or damages incurred because of production, further investigation will be required and our studio will repair those types of flaws and/or damages. All our pieces shipped go through a thorough quality control process, double-checking ring sizes and proper working hinges and earring backs. *
QUALITY: Quality in design and quality in production is our absolute highest priority. For custom ring orders we prefer to double check ring sizes carefully with customer in person and suggest having the customer not guess their ring size but be properly fitted using a jeweler’s metal ring sizer with ½ sizes. Please have a wide, metal ring sizer available for customers when fitting them for our wide ring designs (including pieces such as the Vega and Virgo rings). We suggest using cotton gloves when handling high-polished pieces and always using leather, leatherette, suede, velvet, or cotton display and/or trays when showcasing pieces in your store and/or when handling with customers. *Glass / acrylic / wood / metal / plastic showcases and/or displays, customer’s watches, rings and other jewelry will scratch high-polished metal. Please ask customers to remove any watches and jewelry when trying on high-polished designs to keep the integrity and quality of the designs. The buyer agrees to be fully responsible for any re-polishing or repairs needed if wear and tear incurs on designs in-store. *Earrings such as the Portia or Ophelia earrings must be displayed closed as to keep the integrity of the engineered design. Please inform customers, if purchased, to store these types of hoop-hinge earrings CLOSED and in a suede pouch, especially while traveling. *We believe in educating our customers of the metal, quality and engineering of these designs. *
SOCIAL MEDIA: The studio of ASHLEY CHILDS takes great care with social media outreach. By agreeing to these terms and conditions, the buyer agrees to properly credit, “tag” and/or “mention,” any photos of ASHLEY CHILDS designs posted on social media (Instagram: @ashleychilds, Facebook: @ashleychildsstudio, Twitter: @ashleychilds). Any photos from our website ashleychilds.com, Instagram, Facebook or Twitter may be subject to further credit given the photographer, model, stylist or style-director involved. Please be mindful of all artist’s involved and credit responsibly. Editorial photos will be properly credited on @ashleychilds’ Instagram, Facebook and website. For questions about larger prints of editorial photos, please contact our studio directly. *
This completed form will be emailed to both you and the studio of ashley childs. A printed copy will also be mailed to you for your records.
